SchoolChoice Round 1 – Enroll Now!

FPW Families,

SchoolChoice Round 1, DPS’s open enrollment process for 2026-27, is now open. The window closes at 4 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2026. Please remember, this is required for families with students in transitioning grades (Early Childhood Education (ECE), 5th grade and 8th grade) to save your student’s seat for next school year. 

Here’s how to enroll:

  1. When the application opens, click here and log in to Parent Portal. If you do not have an account already, you can create one.
  2. Fill out the application and select “Florida Pitt Waller” as your school of choice. If your student is in 8th grade, select their top high school choices. Submit your application.
  3. Families will be notified of the results in March 2026. Once your enrollment is processed, your student may register for the 2026-27 school year.
