Letter from the Principal

Posted May 28, 2024

Dear Florida Pitt Waller (FPW) Community,

As you know, FPW is an incredible school community within Denver Public Schools (DPS). We have highly talented students, deeply engaged parents, innovative teachers, and thoughtful staff.

It is with mixed emotions that I share with you that I will be taking a leadership sabbatical next year and starting a new chapter in educational leadership. My journey with the FPW community began four years ago, amidst the challenges of the pandemic from the role of an Assistant Principal to that of a Principal.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community. It has been a joyous experience to work alongside dedicated FPW community members as we always keep our students at the heart of everything we do.

As I embark on a new chapter, I am filled with confidence that FPW will continue to thrive and achieve great things. The FPW community will always hold a special place in my heart.
