Florida Pitt Waller School is seeking a dedicated and responsible Crossing Guard to ensure the safe crossing of school children on the streets. The primary duty of this position is to assist students in safely navigating road crossings, promoting pedestrian safety, and maintaining traffic flow during peak school hours. Ideal candidates should be dependable, capable of working outdoors in adverse weather conditions, and exhibit excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and motorists. This part-time position offers ten (10) hours per week at a rate of $19.00 per hour. Crossing Guards will be required to work both mornings and afternoons, with hours aligned to the assigned school’s start and dismissal times, resulting in a bi-weekly income of $380.00 (before taxes).
