Rhonda Jacobs
Resource Teacher

Hello! My name is Mrs. Rhonda Jacobs and I am super excited to be a part of the second grade team this year. I am starting my 7th year at Florida Pitt Waller ECE-8, GO BISON. I whole heartedly embrace the legacy of Florida Pitt Waller; she is an inspiration to everyone who hears her great life story of honesty, integrity, perseverance, and setting a path for education for all students to be career and college ready. This is the “Waller Way”.

For the last five years I taught Literacy Intervention at Waller and my 1st year here I worked within the Multi-Intensive special education classroom. Previous to being a full time teacher I was owner of a home child care specializing in early childhood education for four years. I found my passion for teaching during this time. I received my bachelor's of Science degree from Salisbury State University in Maryland where I lived before moving to Colorado 20 plus years ago. I am in the process of earning my Masters in Literacy and Curriculum from University of Colorado Denver.

I love reading and I love sharing that joy with your children. I like spending down time with my husband and 14 year old daughter. We like camping, cooking, gardening and exploring this beautiful area we live in.
