Sarah Bruker
ECE Teacher



Sarah grew up in Aiken, S.C. She attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., and received a degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE). After graduation, she taught first grade for two years in Athens. In the summer of 2013, Sarah moved to Denver to be close to the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

While working on her master’s in reading education with an emphasis in new and digital technologies, she served as a guest teacher in Denver Public Schools for two years. In January 2015, she joined the Florida Pitt Waller team as a long-term substitute in 2nd Grade ELA-S.

Sarah’s goal as an educator is to instill a lifelong love of learning in her students. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys hiking, skiing, hula-hooping, practicing yoga, reading, and dancing to her favorite music.
