I am a native of Oklahoma, and have been in education for more than 25 years. My passion is working with children. I moved to Denver the summer of 1991. During my years of education I attended and received degrees: of a bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education at Southeastern State University, a master's in education as a reading specialist, in addition to English K-12 at Northeastern State University, both in Oklahoma.
Thus, I have taught grades K-6 for the duration of my years in education. Florida Pitt Waller ECE-8 School opened in 2006-07, where had the opportunity to teach the first two sixth grade classes, and in 2008 I became the student advisor.
Enjoyment is spending quality time with my family, a daughter, a son, and three lovely granddaughters. At the same time, I enjoy grilling, reading a great book by a river front; listening to gospel, jazz, as well as, R&B music. Most of all I love to travel.
