Ms. Rowland was raised in Lexington, Kentucky where she lived until she was 14. She then moved with her family to Parker, Colorado where she finished out High School and went on to college at Metropolitan State University. She graduated with a BA in History and International Relations, where she began substitute teaching at Parker Core Knowledge. Ms. Rowland then attended the University of Colorado, Denver to start her Teaching Licensure program where she often subbed throughout the Denver Area at such schools as Amesse, Bruce Randolph and Florida Pitt Waller; where she fell in love with the staff, student body and atmosphere of the school. When not in the classroom you can find her hiking in the mountains with her dog, Remington and loving boyfriend, Alex. She also enjoys weekends with her parents and can never pass up a good book!
